This year marked an important shift in our organization, resulting in a new strategic plan that is grounded in five interventions for change: career-connected learning, coaching + training, talent connection, good jobs, and systems change + advocacy. As we stay focused on addressing community and workforce needs, we’re excited to share how our work is contributing to our mission of guiding the local workforce ecosystem and making strategic investments to promote equity and remove barriers to quality employment for underserved and underrepresented residents. This annual report reflects outcomes and milestones that demonstrate the impact of EmployIndy and our community of partners in the 2022-2023 program year.

TIF Training Grants

The funding for TIF Training Grants comes from the NextLevel Jobs program, overseen by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. These grantees are reimbursed for their work to hire, train, and retain Indianapolis workers. It removes the financial barriers that many employers face during the hiring process and allows them to provide opportunities for growth and employee success throughout the training process.
