Talent Connections FAQ
Job Seekers who live or want to work in Indianapolis/Marion County are eligible to connect with a EmployIndy Recruitment Manager through the Ascend Network platform.
If you don’t have a high school diploma (or equivalency) or an updated resume, you will be connected with career readiness resources and/or opportunities to further your education to prepare for the job search. If you’re 18 to 24 years old, you will be directed to YES Indy, and if you’re over 24, you will be directed to WorkOne Indy or a community-based organization for career support.
After you create a profile in the Ascend Network, you’ll answer a few questions and upload your resume and schedule a one-on-one meeting with a EmployIndy Recruitment Manager. The one-on-one meeting will be held via phone conference. A EmployIndy Recruitment Manager will learn about your skills and interests and help you begin connecting with job opportunities.
Don’t worry! This tool is virtual, and your one-on-one meeting will be held via phone conference.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this online tool. If you are 18 to 24 years old and do not have a high school diploma (or equivalency) and updated resume, you will be directed to YES Indy.
