Ken Clark serves as President & CEO of EmployIndy, where he provides strategic vision and executive leadership for the organization’s mission to connect Marion County residents to quality careers and drive inclusive economic growth. In this role, Ken oversees EmployIndy’s overall strategy, operations, and partnerships, ensuring the workforce system remains employer-responsive, equity-centered, and aligned with the evolving needs of the regional economy.

Prior to becoming President & CEO, Ken served as EmployIndy’s Executive Vice President of Programmatic Operations, leading the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the organization’s workforce development portfolio. He oversaw all programmatic strategies and operational systems that connect underrepresented residents to high-quality career pathways, skill development, and economic mobility. His leadership strengthened data-informed decision-making, employer alignment, and system-wide performance.

Ken also previously served as Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration, where he directed the organization’s financial management, human resources, information technology, and operational infrastructure. In this capacity, he built strong, scalable systems that positioned EmployIndy to expand its impact and effectiveness.

Before joining EmployIndy, Ken spent more than three years as City Controller and Director of the Office of Finance and Management for the City of Indianapolis & Marion County. He also held dual executive roles at the Information Services Agency (ISA) as Chief Information Officer and Chief Financial Officer, where he led major IT modernization initiatives and restructured the city’s technological cost and revenue models. His work contributed to the City of Indianapolis receiving the Mira Award for Corporate Innovator of the Year, and he was individually recognized as the Indianapolis Business Journal’s CTO of the Year in 2018.

Nate Klinck serves as Executive Vice President of Programs at EmployIndy, where he leads the integration and execution of the organization’s workforce strategies across Community Career Services, Business Partnerships & Talent Connections, and Career Connected Learning. In this role, he drives program alignment, strengthens operational performance, and fosters cross-department collaboration to deliver coordinated, high-impact services for residents, employers, and community partners.

With more than 20 years of experience in workforce development, education, and economic development, Nate has held senior leadership roles across state government, nonprofit organizations, and national consulting firms. His background spans workforce policy, system design, program strategy, and large-scale implementation, including previous leadership positions with the Indiana Construction Roundtable Foundation, Thomas P. Miller & Associates, the Indiana Career Council, and the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. Nate earned a Master of Public Administration from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Indiana University Bloomington.

As Chief Development & External Affairs Officer at EmployIndy, Chelsea Meldrum reports directly to the President & CEO and direct all advancement activities supporting EmployIndy’s strategic vision and plan, including resource and fund development, communications and public relations, and stakeholder impact. Chelsea has 14 years of progressive experience in workforce development, serving as a project director for grants from the US Department of Labor, overseeing grant-making and fund allocation strategies, securing over $25 million dollars in grant awards, and implementing new programs and strategic initiatives. Throughout Chelsea’s career as a nonprofit professional, she has led fundraising and communications efforts for both charitable and arts organizations.

As the Senior Executive Assistant to the President and CEO, Belinda provides high-level administrative and operational support that ensures organizational efficiency and seamless coordination across EmployIndy’s executive leadership. In her role, she oversees executive scheduling, governance support, and cross-departmental communications while managing various organizational projects. Her leadership and attention to detail help drive EmployIndy’s daily operations and strategic initiatives forward in service of the organization’s mission to advance economic mobility for Indianapolis residents.

Belinda joined EmployIndy in 2018, bringing more than 17 years of administrative experience in education and nonprofit sectors. Prior to her current role, she served as Executive Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent of Foundational Learning at Perry Township Schools, where she supported district-level operations and provided oversight for 15 elementary schools. Belinda earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Hanover College and is recognized for her strong organizational acumen, collaborative approach, and commitment to operational excellence.
