For more than 40 years, EmployIndy has connected people to career opportunities and supported local employers, helping build a stronger Indianapolis workforce.
Founded in 1983, EmployIndy is a nonprofit organization and Indianapolis’ lead workforce convener. We bring together residents, employers, educators, and community partners to strengthen career pathways, develop local talent, and expand access to economic mobility across Marion County.

Our Role in Indianapolis
EmployIndy connects residents, employers, educators, and community partners to strengthen Indianapolis’ workforce and expand access to economic mobility.
As the designated administrator of federally funded Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs and operator of WorkOne Indy career centers, we connect residents to career guidance, training, and employment resources at no cost.
We also bring partners together to align workforce investments with local needs, strengthen career pathways, and help employers access the talent they need to grow.
