I’m pleased to share that Nate Klinck has been appointed as EmployIndy’s executive vice president of programs. Many of you have worked alongside Nate in his prior roles with our organization, including leading our policy and innovation team and serving in several interim executive capacities. Over the past few years, he has played a critical role in strengthening alignment across departments, advancing our systems change work, and helping drive our mission of empowering and innovating our local workforce ecosystem to promote equity and remove barriers to quality employment.
Nate brings more than two decades of experience across workforce development, talent systems, and economic development. His background in state policy, nonprofit leadership, and largescale workforce strategy uniquely positions him to guide the integration of EmployIndy’s programmatic areas — ensuring residents and employers continue to benefit from a coordinated, data informed workforce ecosystem.
As executive vice president of programs, Nate will oversee our core operational areas, including:
- Community Career Services (WorkOne Indy, YES Indy)
- Business Partnerships & Talent Connections
- Career Connected Learning (Apprenticeships, Project Indy, Indy Achieves)
His leadership will help ensure that our services remain responsive to emerging labor market needs and grounded in equity, collaboration, and measurable impact.
