Apply for Certified Status

Good Wages Certified employers meet the $18/hour wage threshold for all employees and offer health insurance to at least two full-time employees. Part-time employees, apprentices, interns, new hires, and minors may be excluded. Certification lasts for two years and is available for businesses with an office in Marion County, IN.

 

Apply

Being designated as Good Wages Certified starts with completing the online application. After receiving your application and the application fee, Good Wages Initiative staff will arrange a discussion with you to ensure an accurate understanding of your application.

Receive

Once approved, you will receive a GWI Marketing Toolkit complete with door signage, digital Good Wages Initiative design assets, press release template, sample social media announcements, as well as networking, recruiting, and idea exchange opportunities, helping you attract and retain a highly qualified workforce.

Promote

Share your Good Wages Certified status with the community! Please include your updated information on your website’s homepage and include your GWI status in job postings to promote your commitment to employee well-being and the community.
