Recruiting is happening now for 2026-2027 school year.

Employers are selecting students in 2026 for apprenticeship programs that begin in the 2026-2027 school year. Contact your regional INCAP Connector for Marion County.

Yes, all employers pay students participating in an apprenticeship program. The pay rate is determined by industry and is tailored to each occupation.

High school and homeschool students who complete the INCAP Apprenticeship Program will earn a high school diploma with the Employment Honors Plus Seal, as well as an INCAP Apprenticeship Program credential. 

After graduation, they can choose to start their career right away with the option to pursue an advanced degree later in life, or enroll in college. 

Yes, depending upon the occupation selected. Once a student has selected their preferred apprenticeship program occupation, they will work with their school counselor to build their schedule to include any sports or other extracurricular activities.

For homeschoolers, the flexibility of the apprenticeship program allows parents to work with their teen to create their ideal schedule.

To participate in INCAP, students must be at their employer site for at least three days per week during the school year.
