Hear from the Commissioner of the Department of Workforce Development, Fred Payne, President and CEO of the Indiana Manufacturing Association, Brian Burton, and Accenture’s Managing Director, David Olivencia, on what the state is doing to fuel work-based learning programs and best practices on how to implement them.
Indiana is pushing boundaries as a state to help businesses tap into under- and un-employed individuals. In March of 2018, Governor Holcomb created the Office of Work-Base Learning & Apprenticeships, as a commitment to help businesses fill the 85,000 open jobs in the surging Indiana economy.
